CK Website Update

megan_headshot-sm6Pardon our Dust

Creating Keepsakes has been working hard behind the scenes to renovate our website and bring you a better user experience. Taking feedback we’ve received over the past few months, we’ve combined what you enjoy about our site with suggestions for easier access to articles, downloads, etc. to give you the best of both worlds. These changes will go into effect next week.

Like any improvement project, we plan on this being a seamless transition from our current site to our updated model. But, like any improvement project, we understand the importance of being cautious, which is why we’re updating you ahead of time. Please know that your user name and password will remain the same and the content you’ve uploaded will still be available to you.

Thank you for providing us with great ideas to put into our building blueprints. We’re excited to bring you more of what you want from an online scrapbooking resource next week. Since the goal of this project is to provide you with an optimal online experience, we invite you to send us your feedback on the changes after the new website has launched. Please send any questions or comments you want to share about our updated site to our webmaster at webmaster@ckmedia.com.

Sincerely,
The Creating Keepsakes Online Team

I take this subject of the new website to ask to you just a question (or two…): I tried to register on the site, but it never accepted my name nor my password!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why? And I tried to subscribe to CK 2 weeks ago, and… I never received a mail to confirm it and my credit card was not charged!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Why? I love CK, I loved SS and I can’t find it in France, now!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So, sorry for this awful English :)

  2. Hi Stephanie,

First of all, please don’t apologize for your English. Your message was just fine.

Next, please accept our apologies for the frustrations you’ve encountered. We will take your message and forward it to the appropriate parties and see that we get you some answers.

Also, for future reference, if you click on the “Contact Us” tab at the top of this blog, you will find contact information for our various customer service departments. This is a great resource, should you encouter future bumps in the CK road.

Thank you for taking time to write this note. Your support is sincerely appreciated!

    Best,
    The CK Team

I love SisTV site…great inspiration and a great source for info too!
I am interested in the mini book class and the photography one.
Could use some help in both areas!
    Thanks…and great interview!

The digital editing class sound fun–it’s actually my resolution this year to edit my photos before printing them. Concept! Ha!

Sorry about the last post–I meant that to be on the previous post, LOL!

Can you fix the website so I can use my Workspace? I use Firefox on a Mac, and when I scroll through my LOs, after a while the browser freezes and I have to shut it down. If I do the same on my PC (still Firefox), then I can click out and it takes longer for the site connection to die. Help. I love CK, but I don’t want to avoid my workspace.

I think the “Bling out Your Blog” one would be lots of fun! =) Thanks for a shot at this!

  7. Laura says:

Well, my username and password doesn’t work and I refuse to ask for help for the umpteenth time. So after being at the CKMB for about 5 years and 30,000+ posts I am done. I have found a new home.

I was wondering if you would mind posting an update on the Creating Keepsakes Message Board about the statues of the new message board. There seems to be many problems with the message board part and people, myself included are not able to log in and then when we can finally log in it say’s you aren’t logged in anymore. Many long time members over there are leaving because we can’t log in and there is NO communication about what is going on with the board and when we can expect it to get fixed. Most people had no idea that the board was changing over because they only visit the Creating Keepsake Message board website not The blog. Also, new members are also completely in the dark and not sure why the board is not working right. So, if you can post an update that would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I have sent several messages about my gallery being totally missing, but have not received any response. Can anyone adress this issue? This is the second time I have lost my entire gallery here at CK.:(

I still cannot post on the CKMB website, it looks like I can log in, but I really can’t! It is very frustrating! I certainly hope the changes to the website are NOT done. I had just found this message board and was having a great time there! Its just awful now, it might be better if it worked, any time frame as to when the “bugs” will get worked out??

I’m trying repeatedly to sign on before May 13 so that when registration opens I’ll have a password but the response is- my user name can only be alpha-numeric. If my user name isn’t my name, what is it? Help
