IMG_2057Hello Again, Friends!

This is a special day.

Today we pause to remember. To honor and thank those who paid the ultimate price so that we can have our picnics and parades and parties. To recognize the sacrifice of the families whose loved ones gave their lives in order that our freedoms could be preserved. To consider the ongoing challenges of those who voluntarily put themselves in harm’s way to protect our country, our values and our way of life.

We at Creating Keepsakes would like to extend special thanks to military wives and mothers today. We appreciate the commitment you show to your loved ones in the service, and we admire and respect your courage.

"Defining Moment" by Carol Banks

So whoever and wherever you are, enjoy your holiday today, but never forget what it means. And to our heroes . . . thank you. We can never express how deeply we appreciate the difficult choices you have made and continue to make on our behalf.

  1. Thank you!! For not just remembering the service members, but their families as well. In the 20 years we’ve served, I have always thought that the ones it is hardest for is our children – the missed birthdays and holidays are so hard for little ones to understand. God Bless.

  2. AMEN!!! Words cannot express the gratitude that I feel for all those who serve, who sacrifice, and give so that this great nation can survive and prosper. THANK YOU for all that you do, and God Bless all military families, with their loved ones away.

  3. can you please update the CK website?
the june 2009 links do not show up unless you go from the links on this blog http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/issues/June_2009
    the website links to http://www.creatingkeepsakes.com/issues/index.html?current_issue
which does not have any content

it’s a shame that the CK website is so difficult to navigate and so full of advertising instead of content
it really could be a wonderful resource
