This is my last post for today. I hope you’ve had as much fun as I have celebrating our special day. With Mother’s Day around the corner, I thought I’d conclude with some super cute free downloads we have on our website from our special issue, 101 Hip Handmade Gifts, which would make perfect gifts for Mom. I love your blog! I am a newcomer to your website, and am in the process of completing a project using the Just for Fun Kit! I enjoy all the tips from the magazine and the blogs in the CK website. My daughter and I have set up a scrapbooking area in our basement using a lot of the organization and storage tips. I didn’t get to scrapbook, too many things going on with the family. But I had a great day: yard saling with 2 of my kids; soccer games for the 2 younger ones; cooking dinner with my daughter, watching a movie together. Making memories, instead of scrapbooking them.

There’s so much going on this time of year. The transition from winter to spring. Getting the lawn going, planting flowers, brining out the lawn furniture thinking HMm does my house need a fresh coat of paint? Spring a time to renew and start fresh.

When I became a mom, I knew that all the little moments would mean a lot to me. What I didn’t know was that when I create a scrapbook page looking back on those moments, with all the nifty embellishments, tools and do-dads, I can recreate that magical feeling of my child and how fast he’s growing. With the help of Creating Keepsakes, hopefully, my son can use what I created for him and have those magical feelings in his heart with his own children.

I really enjoy scrapbooking and taking all those pictures. It is a blessing to sit down and organize photos of some of my favorite people (husband and 7 children) and put them in beautiful books. I have 8 books going right now and do not get to work on them as often as I like. I enjoy blogs that give fresh ideas and motivation to work on those books at the end of a busy day.
