3. I didn’t go to CHA but I did notice that companies were creating banners on pages (i.e. triangles with a line above them). This looked like a neat way to do a title or border.

13. My favorite trend right now is all of the handmade embellishments… especially flowers! I made some paper bag roses recently and I was amazed at how easy it was and how real they look!

21. I’m obsessed with flowers and brads right now. I’ve seen several articles about using felt recently, but only started playing with my old stash of the stuff yesterday…and WOW! I am so excited. Many beautiful creations are ahead.

74. I love how scrapbooking is crossing lines w/ different crafts…for example – sewing references/themes in scrapping lines as well as material w/ the same patterns as our beloved paper! Even Cricut has that new machine to create cake designs. Love this trend of crossing over to different crafts!

81. The flowers I’ve seen from CHA pics that are coming out – oh my – just beautiful. And as we’ve had SUCH an artic winter here in the heartland, anything to help me think spring is going to make me happy. I’ve even pulled out my crochet hook and am playing with different flower designs that I can add to my card creations as well.

    I have been making cards for only a year so I don’t know if this is a trend or old hat but I really like to see desingers create the look of patterened paper using stamps and ink, especially on kraft and colored paper!

92. oh my—those are beautiful pics!! I think my fav trend in rings are the ones that are chunky and glass that I can wear on my right hand (middle or ring finger). I also get ones that are made of beads (crocheted). LOVE those:)
