    I love butterflies but with three boys in our house I tend to use more solid colors like blue and brown – trucks, legos and nature;)

  4. I’m loving all the rainbows and banners that I’ve seen in a lot of spring collections (like Dear Lizzy). Swoon! Pinwheels are lots of fun too! :)

    Gotta be flowers! I love them all: paper flowers, felt flowers, silk flowers! They fit just about anywhere on the page, and add texture and elegance. Or whimsy! Flowers flowers flowers.

    I love both flowers and butterflies and find it hard to make a card without one or the other. (But I’m currently making Father’s Day cards, so having to forgo both for the moment!) All the collections you showed are lovely — I Do is my favorite. :)

    My favorite thing to scrap about the start of spring is my kids jumping in the fresh puddles after a warm spring rain! My DD had her rain boots on with a cute little dress and I captured some of the cutest pictures of her!

    I know it’s been around forever, but the flower prints just keep getting better, in my opinion. I love the bright hues and the larger, cut-out-able blooms coming out lately.

    It’s flowers for me..every Spring! Living in Oregon, we start having flowers open up early. Which is perfectly with me. I have a tendancy to put flowers on most of my cards.

    I am a gardener and the grandmother of two girls who LOVE to help. My favorite flowers are lilacs, peonies, hydrangeas, lavender, and more. So it is definitely flowers for me. I use them in my scrapbooking and card-making as much as I can.

    For spring, I really love the look of nature scenes – suns, clouds, grass, and flowers. So I know that’s probably more than one motif, but being outside after the cold winter and before the too-hot summer is what spring is all about for me!!

    I’m still in love with the banners/pennants…being a boy mama they go better on my pages than flowers usually. But the butterflies I’m seeing everywhere are really catching my eye and I might have to bust out a few layouts about ME to get to use some!
