Guest Blogger: Angela Magnuson, owner and operator of Unity Stamp Company

Hello, beautiful, creative girls.  I am Angela Magnuson. I own and operate Unity Stamp Company alongside my husband and 14 AMAZING and PHENOMENAL people here at Unity. We manufacture an extremely large line of red rubber stamps.  After two years of building and growing, we are beyond happy to declare we have over 10,000 images in our line.

Unity Stamp Company has a huge variety of stamps. We have a line of wood-mounted stamps and also a line of unmounted red rubber stamps that are completely precut  and mounted on cling foam. Our stamps are ready to be used on any acrylic handle right out of the package.

I love layouts that tug at your heartstrings yet take you literally minutes to complete. This one is a perfect example of that.

Key to Joy by Angela Magnuson. Supplies: Cardstock: Jillibean Soup; Patterned paper: Jillibean Soup and Melody Ross; Key to Joy stamp kit and ink: Unity Stamp Company; Stickers: American Crafts; Other: Adhesive, charms, string, and thread.

The project is a simple stamping scrapbook layout I created using Unity’s Key to Joy stamp set by Joslyn Nielson.

You can stamp the background stamp four times to give your layout instant depth.

Stamp the butterfly image three times and cut out the images to give your layout simple embellishments. I sewed down the middle of the three butterflies; however, simple adhesive added to each one would work as well. I also cut out a little butterfly from the Melody Ross Collection to place on top.

You will notice down the side some faux stitching—it’s from the Key to Joy set. I sewed two red lines down the right side of the page and then stamped the faux-stitching stamp right over the top of them.

Place your sentiments, words, and embellishments next, and voila—beautiful, heartwarming memories a la a scrapbook layout. This layout is so simple; you could reproduce it in no time at all! Don’t you just love that?

Know what else I love? Inspiring women to be creative—both spiritually and artistically! You will find consistent inspiration everywhere at Unity. The people, the products, and the projects are always ready and available at Unity to fill your inspirational needs. What better way to continue to do that than to give you the opportunity to add more crafting supplies to your collection? I’m ready to give away over $500 worth of product by Unity! Check it all out!

Tell your friends, and simply leave a comment below telling me how YOU get inspired in your life. I will pick one lucky winner from comments left by 9:00 a.m. MST on Friday, July 9, 2010! Thanks for visiting!

Awesome layout! Your layout is inspiring and I know I can do it, I just have to start doing it. Soon, I keep saying that. Maybe tomorrow will be the day. I’d love to win and have the set to do some awesome things too.
