kjackson headshot1 150x150 Latest & Greatest: July/August 2010 CK For many of us, our favorite crafty time of year is winter. What could be better than snuggling up with a blanket, a cup of cocoa, and reams of patterned paper? Well, while summertime means more time outdoors playing with the family and perhaps a little less time curling up with our paper-crafting supplies, we’d like to entice you to take your scrapbooking to the picnic table with you. And we have just the ticket to get your creativity going: new products! So take a little time away from the sun to check out these fab finds. They’re sure to be the stars of your summertime scrapbooking.

Presto Patterns by  Stampin’ Up!

Behold, my friends—nothing but a simple piece of white cardstock. Now, with just a spritz of trusty spray ink . . . ta da! A gorgeous, vintage design, just waiting to accent your memories. Stampin’ Up!‘s Presto Patterns Specialty Designer Series papers are a unique—and totally fun—way to add the shimmer of spray mist and the beauty of intricate designs to your scrapbook pages with very little effort. Each sheet is thermographically printed with a tone-on-tone white design, perfect for mimicking an emboss-resist look. Remember to dab away the excess ink from your design to prevent blotchy drying, and be sure to dab, not wipe, or else your ink will smear.

I love the tear out ticket book! And you are so right…it’s easier to scrapbook when stuck inside during the cold winter. But this has given me some inspiration and now I want to scrapbook…being that it’s almost 100 degrees, I could say I was trapped inside due to the heat!

  27. Andrea Johnson says:

Supplies look cool. I like scrapping in the summer — I’m off work and the nights stay light so long! My guys and I are more night people, so we sleep in and party all night :-) Well, I scrap, they are usually on the computer or playing video games lol. It gets really hot here, so having an inside, a/c friendly hobby is nice.

  29. Barb Marteney says:

Now is the time we are stockpiling pictures from all the summer activities to keep us busy all winter. Lots of ideas brewing. I like to also take pictures of the signs at the parks or other places we go to make custom accents and titles for the pages I make with the pictures from that outing. Winning these fabulous new supplies would really give my inspiration a boost!
