Military Scrapbook Layouts in Honor of Veterans Day

Happy Veterans Day!

We’d like to acknowledge those of you in the military and those who have loved ones who have served or are currently serving their country. We honor your service and your sacrifice. Thank you!

As scrapbookers, there are times when we use this craft to help us get through difficult and challenging times. We’d like to share some layouts with you from a couple incredibly strong women who scrapbooked their military journeys. We hope their layouts inspire you to record your military experiences. If you have a military layout you’d like to share, post it on Club CK.

“My scrapbooks are a way to document, celebrate and, at times, vent about military life.”

“I’m only half-kidding when I say scrapping helps save my sanity during deployments. In addition to keeping me from going completely and utterly insane, it leaves me with a lasting reminder of my thoughts and feelings at the time. It leaves my husband with a piece of home.”

as a female Army veteran, I have not even attempted scrap booking my service time (10 years). I am just now back to what I considered normalcy in the civilian world. I just don’t know where to start, I did a lot, traveled a lot.
Thank you to those civilian supporters who remember those who are deployed and stateside too.

It was good to see those, as there aren’t very many out there. A couple of years ago, I made a 100 page scrapbook for my dad, who is a Korean War vet. It was a chance for me to see part of his past & we spent many hours together for the preparation. He truly treasures the book and I was honored to create it for him.

Hi, I’m hoping someone can offer me a suggestion for finding a sticker of an army dress blues uniform. I’m doing the scrapbook for my sister’s wedding and her husband wore his army dress blues. (he’s army eod.) I was hoping someone could offer me a suggestion to find it. None of the websites I’ve tried have had it.
