I am thrilled to blog about Jenni Bowlin’s popular class: Re-purpose, Re-think, Re-invent! I took this class when it first ran and it completely opened my mind. I learned new techniques, got great flea market shopping tips, had fun watching Jenni’s videos, but most importantly I started to incorporate more of the past into my scrapbooking. Before I share a project with you, let me give you a peek into her classroom.
Through projects, creative challenges, and field trips, you will not only be inspired, but motivated (there is a difference)! Inspiration serves no purpose if you don’t know how to use it, so this class will show you how to use your inspiration! Jenni has an eclectic and quirky style as shown in her two layouts above, Collections, and Goofballs.
Her ability to combine vintage with everyday has inspired me. I had fun making the layout, Proof, and loved how it turned out. Another project I made inspired by Jenni was a framed book cover with a photo of me as a child alongside it.
The book is a favorite from my childhood and the story tells about a mother bunny who competes to become one of the five Easter bunnies. She is able to do this because she has taught her bunny children how to care for themselves and each other. This story obviously impacted me as a child and I like to think that I have incorporated the simple lessons taught in it.
