Artistic Adhesives for Your Scrapbook Layouts

I know that when you think of adhesives your first thought is how you can use it to secure elements to your project or scrapbooking pages…but what if you could use it as an artistic medium?

With the direction of scrapbooking now also trickling into mixed media art, this is where Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products can help take projects to another level. Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L has always been known for their quality…here are a few ideas where you can use that quality to your benefit and create some fun artistic effects on your paper crafting projects.

There are so many fun and dimensional ideas that you can use with our adhesive. Below you can see how you can use the Crafty Power Tape (a super strong hold permanent strip adhesive).

This is a fun way to easily secure beautiful treasures and gems, especially if you like to paint or varnish over them. The Crafty Power Tape works great to secure products down and allow you to still manipulate some fun mediums over them without worry of things falling off.

Another fun way to use your adhesive as an art medium is to pair it with craft foils. Craft foils have been in the scrapbook market for awhile, and usually are used with a hot foil pen or even some liquid adhesives. What is nice about pairing craft foils with Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products is that you don’t have to wait for glue to dry in order to use them.

Pairing Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L Adhesive Sheets with Craft foil is a great way to add an instant sparkle with a variety of different ways to apply it. You can use the Adhesive Sheet in full or even run them through die-cut machines as well. What I love to do is use even the leftover adhesive on the sheet after I have used if for a project and strategically place the leftover adhesive on my project creating a fun broken layer of foil.

This is a fun way of using the leftover adhesive plus it adds just a little sparkle to your project. It also adds a beautiful metallic feel to the project, giving it a multi-media effect.

So as you can see…there are so many possibilities that you can use Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L products for. With your creativity…the possibilities are endless! For more information on this and other Scrapbook Adhesives by 3L projects, visit our site!
