    I like to use Gesso and splat it with India inks. Art class ROCKS!

    I like to cut out letters or shapes with my Cricut, glue them to my layouts and then paint over them. I like the subtlety it gives. I’d love to try more new techniques, though!

    Wow–I love mixed media–in fact I haven’t tried the modeling paste so may have to go pick some up! I’m a very much play with my hands kind of crafter–just short on time is my problem. And I very much work with my hands for a living–so fun!

    I just discovered Gesso. I use it similar to what you did here – for texture. Going a little nutty with it but discovering a newfound love for mixed media and I can’t wait to take your class! (which I’ll be signing up for as soon as I’m done here…)

    I have always been a pile it on layering kind of scrapper and a journaler so mixed media was a natural transition. I love to feel like a “real artist” when I’m creating. Stamping is my go to technique – it adds so much interest when it’s put on my pages or canvases

    I’m really interested in using unusual materials in altered journaling. I save packaging, clothing tags, cardboard, paint chips, magazine ads, you name it. Reduce, reuse, recycle!
