My husband’s old 10×10 shed is s-l-o-w-l-y transitioning into my art studio. All of my supplies are in the garage in boxes and have been for several years. I dream of the day that I will be able to open everything and have my friends help me organize. These pictures have given me new ideas on how to decorate my space!!!

  2. Michelle says:

Would love to be inspired beyond my bookshelves which currently hold all of my supplies. Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

My husband has a computer room and I have a scrap room….we had to swap spaces because I out-grew scrap room! I could no longer use the phrase: “My husband says I can buy all the scrap stuff I can hide”!!–I can now!:)
Time to start thinking about how I want to design my NEW scrap room!!! ;) Such decisions!

I would love the opportunity to have a craft space. When we moved I was going to get the big walk in closet, but that is full of boxes. I’m on my way tonight to get the magazine and dream about a new space.

I can’t wait to get my hands on this new issue. I’ve checked at 3 local stores and no one has it yet.

I stopped working on my new scrapbook room until I get this so that I can incorporate some the great ideas I am seeing .. The shelves some of the ladies have are beautiful and will be a great space saver. I loved the gumball machine button holder. Such a clever idea. A door for a table top.. I’ve been trying to figure out what to use that would be big enough.. Fantastic idea…

I’ve enjoyed looking at the spaces you have highlighted on here.. Can’t wait to see this special issue.

Woah! I’m really digging the template/theme of this website. It’s simple, yet effective. A lot of times it’s difficult to get that “perfect balance” between superb usability and visual appearance. I must say you have done a very good job with this. In addition, the blog loads very fast for me on Firefox. Excellent Blog!

hi everyone!I tried to doolwnad the zine link, and it kept failing (saying broken link’).We are creating a conference/convergence space next year on aboriginal land, in the colony’ that is Australia, that is safer to be aboriginal and torres straight islander, not-white, mixed race, migrant, queer, intersex, sex and/or gender diverse, femme, sex worker, differently abled, non-neurotypical, a space that is not sizeist or speciesist or sexist and is radical and accessible.Wow, is that a tall enough order? Additions? don’t make assumptions or judgements about someone’s sex, gender, sexuality, race, culture, nationality, ethnicity, body, dis/ability, age, class, marital status, pregnancy, parental or caring status, religion, occupation or identity (Sheetle, above)I think in the safer spaces policy we should talk about what we are trying to create so as to help people realise what we are trying to be *safer* from.I agree with what shmeetle wrote, and I also think the policy should be inclusive and clear, and there should be people from the collective to enforce the policy in consultation with the rest of the collective there should be ways for individuals to try to resolve things and follow up if necessary and not resort to simplistic you must leave or you can stay except as a final resort and in consultation with the collective or through some clear process. Its a space where the collective can respond when conflict or any kinds of oppression or exclusions exist, but not to police/mediate each others sexuality through the bigger issues of conflict, consent, or to do mediation. That is for individuals to access from a list of services and referrals that we could make. Thus the responsibility of the collective is to ensure that conference/convergence spaces are not exclusive of diversity, and that these decisions are made with transparency (ie through the collective).Ok its hard not to dissolve into rhetoric with these discussions love to hear what others think
