In the July/August 2011 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine, we introduced the second-ever Teen Talent Contest, searching for scrapbook projects from teens, aged 13-18. And wow! The submissions from talented teen scrapbookers rolled in! Out of hundreds of entries this year, it was difficult to choose finalists, but we finally did, and then you all voted for your favorites.
Holy cow, did you ever vote.
More than 500,000 votes came in, and the entry that received the most votes was this adorable layout.
And just who made that adorable layout? This year’s winner, 14-year-old Abbie Nichols of California!
Abbie is going to win a TON of prizes, including an iPod touch! Congrats, Abbie!
Four runners up will also receive terrific prizes! Here are their projects.
This sophisticated frame from Brooke Gorrell, age 17, of Manitoba.
This colorful layout by Elisa Richardson, age 16, of Utah.
This fantastically fun video from Teanen Chen, age 13, of Washington.
And this beautiful layout from Sofia Ehrich, age 16, of California.
Congratulations to all of the winners. You inspire us to believe that the rising generation of scrapbookers will be a creative bunch, and we look forward to more creativity from you in the future.
