Recently SRM introduced a new container product that has taken the industry by storm; clear TUBES! These multipurpose, food-safe TUBES are offered in three sizes – Mini TUBES, Standard TUBES and the Magic Wand. They can be filled with candies, confetti, potpourri or you name it! They’re perfect pick-me-up gifts for friends, family, teachers, etc., and best of all they’re fun to alter. And they are perfect for organizing!
The Designers at SRM love to use clear TUBES for storing scrappy items. We are thrilled to show you just a few of their ideas! You’ll discover one great idea after another and fall in love with SRM’s clear TUBES. Did we mention that SRM Stickers and clear tubes are a perfect match? The stickers seamlessly cling to the tubes!
SRM Emeritus Designer, Nina Brackett, altered regular-sized tubes to keep her mini flowers neat & tidy.
SRM Designer, Rae Barthel, created her own color-coordinated button storage system.
SRM Designer, Virginia Lu, cleverly developed a way to store her scrappy ‘sharps’ (paper piercer, craft knife, etc.).
SRM Designer, Melanie Jarocki, created a handy baker’s twine storage/dispenser in a few easy steps;
1. Cut 3 wooden skewers to 6.5 inches. Wrap twine around each skewer leaving one end loose with about 3 inches free to thread through hole in the cap.
2. Trim 2 cardstock strips to 6.75 x 1 inch each and score lengthwise down the middle. Fold each strip along scoreline and adhere one half of one strip to another half of the other strip (so outside fold of scorelines are touching. This provides the 3-way divider). Place divider in tube.
3. Punch 3 holes in the clear cap, placing them in the middle of the sections. I punched mine with a hammer and nail, then used a paper-piercer to enlarge the hole.
4. Add twine-wrapped skewers to the tube, placing a skewer of twine in each of the divided sections. Thread the twine through the holes and place cap on the tube.
SRM Stickers is giving away an assortment of 8 Tubes, 8 Mini Tubes, and 8 Magic Wands – a total of 2 dozen to one lucky winner. Just leave a comment on this post for a chance to win!
