An Insider’s Look: CK’s Nov/Dec 2011 Issue

Fifteen years ago, Creating Keepsakes magazine published its premier issue. And today, our 15th anniversary issue, the November/December 2011 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine, is on sale at a scrapbook, craft, or book store near you. With a fun retrospective of changes in scrapbooking through the years, holiday scrapbooking tips, and more, this issue is sure to spark your creativity!

Insider Info #1: 15 Years of Scrapbooking

A lot has changed in 15 years of scrapbooking. That’s why we asked founding editor Lisa Bearnson and premier creative editor Becky Higgins to share a bit about how their scrapbooking processes have changed since they started out. You’ll find their answers and scrapbook pages on pages 82 and 83.

A fun coincidence: We asked both of these talented ladies separately why they still scrapbook today, and they both answered that scrapbooking their memories helps them recognize their blessings. How many hobbies can say they do that?

Take our “15 Years of CK Trivia” quiz to test your knowledge of Creating Keepsakes through the years or just learn some fun  facts! And don’t forget to enter our 15th anniversary sweepstakes for a chance to win cool prizes.

Insider Info #2: Photo Collages for Thanks

We’re thrilled to include a beautiful heritage layout by the talented Ali Edwards in this issue on page 74. Her simple photo collage tribute to her family of  generations past creates a beautiful design and helps fit more photo on her layout.

Download two templates to fit more photos on your layout on our website.
