Happy Halloween! I hope this post finds you well.
Halloween is definitely one of my favorite holidays. Not because I’m wicked (insert evil laugh here) but because Halloween is so spook-tacular at our house. From the delightfully festive decorations adorning the front porch to our annual visits to the pumpkin patch and fall festival, it’s something we all look forward to.
Something else that thrills me – scrapbooking! There are so many fun Halloween products to use on your scrapbook layouts that you are sure to scream with ghoulish delight.
Here are just a handful of ways to add some Halloween magic to your scrapbook pages!
Create Handmade Accents!
Create handmade candy corn accents easily using cardstock or patterned paper and some dimensional glaze. Simply cut out shapes from paper and layer pieces together to create your candy corn. Top accents with dimensional glaze for added shine!
Design an Eerie Background!
Get this look by misting spray ink over a sheet of laser-cut paper. Then add photos of your favorite witches and goblins for a frightfully cute Halloween layout.
Create a Spookishly Clever Title!
G. Village by Keri Babbitt as seen in the October 2011 issue of Creating Keepsakes.
For a wickedly easy and creative way to title your Halloween layout, try mixing a border sticker or border rub-on with bold letter stickers. Place border along the top of your page above your photos. Then place letter stickers directly on top of border for a chilling effect.
I hope you enjoyed the inspiration!
