Hello, creative friends! I’ve spent the entire morning going through an incredible group of CK & Me submissions. Yes, in this season of thanks, it’s easy to express thanks for a job where I get to spend time being inspired by you. Thanks so much for sending in your layouts. We love seeing what you’ve been up to. Take a look at some of what we’ve received.
It appears many of you find Kim Watson’s work inspiring, and several of you were attracted to this festive layout in particular, which was featured in our Nov/Dec 2011 issue.

It’s so fun to see how two people can take inspiration from the same page and scraplift it in completely different ways. Amy Wheeler took her inspiration from the right side of Kim’s page to create this beauty. Great work, Amy!

Like Amy, Mary Staveness was also inspired by Kim’s design. Take a look at how she took a holiday layout and transformed it into an everyday page simply by changing up the products used. Well played, Mary!

Here’s a fun CK & Me twist. Our next featured scrapbooker was inspired by a past feature opener (the cute lead-in to an article). She loved what Cindy Tobey did to introduce the “Pretty Spooky” article in our October 2010 issue. She created a paper pieced scene, complete with an spook-tacular haunted house.

Since Halloween has come and gone, Natalie Strand used the inspiration to create something a bit more timely–a bunch of paper-pieced gingerbread houses. This is very sweet, Natalie! Great job.
Of course, we hope you’ll take a minute and congratulate these gals on work well done. And we invite you to submit your own CK & Me work. Simply send a picture of your work, along with information on the project that inspired it (designer, issue featured in, page number, and how you were inspired) to editorial@creatingkeepsakes.com with “CK & Me” in the subject line. Your work could be featured on our blog or in a future issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.
And we’d love to take a minute and thank you for all you do to continue and inspire us. Seeing your work makes our day, and we greatly appreciate you taking the time to submit. Or, let us know how you’ve been inspired by Creating Keepsakes magazine this year by leaving a comment. Twenty lucky readers will receive a beautiful Christmas Keepsakes Box from Stampin’ Up!
Cheers!

I am inspired by the many beautiful and stunning layouts on CK mag which moved me to scrapbook photos of my son and myself too. The tips & technique section is the most valuable resource that helps beginner like me to start scrapbooking.
I love the font used in the current issue of CK in an article by Mou Saha titled “from my Thankful Heart”….what font is this?
That gingerbread banner is adorable!
I lOVE the scraplift ideas! Thanks!

I have been inspired by the timesaving ideas.
All my CK mags are dotted with sticky notes marking ideas I want to try. I really like the sketches, especially those using 4×6 photos.
I picked up my first CK magazines in a local thrift shop — but really got inspired this year when I joined Club CK. I have never made so many LOs – and so many that I really feel GOOD about! Now I have a digi-subscription, and I am just loving the goodies — so much to learn, so much fun to try new things! Thanks, CK!

I Scrap So All Moments Are Remembered!
Inspiration? Almost every page has something to get my creative juicies flowing!
I have been inspired so many times because CK has one of the best scrappin’ magazines out there. The talent of its submitters is sometimes overwhelming to me. Things are constantly being “changed up”, and I draw inspiration for my own “changing up” from what is published in CK.
Oh, I hope I’m not too late! I love CK and have been a loyal reader and subscriber for probably 6 years now. I can’t imagine scrapping without you! Thanks so much for all the inspiration and continued growth you have provided for me over the years!
Cute projects
I love Club CK and the blog. I love being able to see so many different methods, sketches, and designs!
