Create A Mini Album Ornament

As we’re deciding on the perfect holiday gifts, we had an idea for a fun and affordable new holiday tradition that you can share with your family and friends–scrapbook ornaments.

To get started, create an 8×6 pocket landscape photo book in hard or soft cover at A few album ideas are:

  • A timeline of your family’s year
  • Exciting milestones your baby has reached
  • Your favorite photos taken during the year
  • Family vacations

You can use our wide range of stickers and other personalized elements, or create your own with family photos or trip keepsakes!

Next, simply order some books and once they are delivered take them to your local craft store, pick a ribbon and simple fastener of your choice, and voila, you have creative keepsake scrapbook ornaments that your family can treasure over the years—and you can do this for less than $10! This is also a really fun way to capture each of your children’s first years and then have a fun way for them to look back on this mini baby book as the years go by.

To get you started we’d like to offer you a special discount on all our products, which range from infinitely customizable photo books to holiday photo cards and calendars. From now until December 31, 2011 please enter SCRAPPYMIX20 at check-out at to receive 20% off your order.

Happy holidays! We look forward to seeing the cool stuff you create for your friends and family this season!

LOVE the idea!! Thanks for sharing. I’ve not been able to find a craft store that will do the fastener for you near me. Any ideas for tools to use to DIY?? I’m definitely doing this, just trying to figure out how I’ll do it on my own.

How about using your Cropadile and a jump ring from the jewelry section? i think that would work well for you!!
