Hello, CK’ers! My name is MaKenzie Dykstra (or, MaK, if you ask the Creating Keepsakes team), and I’m the online marketing manager for The CK Online Store. I’m the lucky gal who gets to add all the new, ingenious (yes, I’m biased) Creating Keepsakes products to the shop each week. Scrapbooking and papercrafting have always given me the warm and fuzzies, so I was ecstatic when Jennafer Martin asked me to make some custom-designed goodies to give away on the CK Blog! I’m also the owner & scatter-brained creator behind MaKenzieNoelle Creative, a unique, chic, silly shop that helps you celebrate life’s biggest events.
Turkey Day is just around the corner and if you’re anything like me, you’re already thinking of fun ways to express what you’re thankful for. Thanksgiving is an important holiday for me. My beautiful mother is the most thoughtful person I have ever met and each Thanksgiving she has carried on a tradition in our family that I’d love to share with you. On the dinner plate of each person in attendance at our Thanksgiving feast, she handwrote an “I’m thankful for you because…” card. It was such a simple & meaningful way to show loved ones how important they were to her.
I’ve designed four, custom, harvest-themed “I’m thankful for you because…” tags that I’d like to share with you for free. This Thanksgiving (and throughout 2012) I hope these little tags come in handy when you share with your loved ones just how special they are to you!
Each tag is separated into a layered, Photoshop file – so feel free to include in your scrapbooks too! Or, you can just print off the PDF file and cut out the four tags to use however you like.
