Sitting in front of my computer one morning, fighting a cough and some sniffles, I grabbed a cough drop and stared at it in surprise.
My cough drop was talking to me. Alright, so it didn’t actually speak, but there, printed on the wrapper, were the words “Be resilient.” I smiled, popped the cough drop in my mouth, and continued on with my day, feeling a little bit more inspired to make it a good one.
As scrapbookers, we are no strangers to the inspiring power of words. We know the perfect title or the perfect bit of journaling can bring emotions and sentiments to a layout that the pictures by themselves can’t quite convey. For layouts with a particularly powerful message, try using your favorite inspirational quotes as a title or journaling.
