Sneak Peek at 2012 CKC Scrapbook Classes

Got class?  We do!

Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Conventions (CKCs) are known nationwide as superior scrapbooking events providing scrapbookers and paper crafters with innovative classes, fun crops, and fantastic shopping from some of the best manufacturers in the business.

We are only days away from shipping our very first show for the 2012 season, and what a year it’s going to be!

No Rules ScrapbookingOne class that is turning out to be a really hot seller is our new “No Rules Scrapbooking” class. In this class you’ll step out of your scrapbook comfort zone and let your creative juices flow.  This unique 90 minute class is the first of its kind featuring the hottest trend—SMASH books by K&Company.

Bring some photos and memorabilia and smash them together to create a smash book of your own, plus you’ll leave with plenty of goodies and inspiration to get your smash on after class, too.

Wait till you see all of the brand new Smash products to add to your collection.  Looking for some smashing inspiration before class?  Check out this fun new blog I came across this morning, Smash Stories.

Another class quickly making a name for its self is our new “Kitchen Supply” class. Now, don’t let the name fool you, no one is going to make you cook up anything but a good time in this class!  Amy Tangerine has done it again with her new line of fresh colors and clean designs. Couple these with some innovative products right off your kitchen shelf and you’ve got all the fixings for a yummy layout. Doilies, bakers twine, sucker sticks, placemats, and cupcake liners are just some of the fun things you’ll be creating with. You’ll also leave inspired with other great kitchen supply ideas, like crafting with eggs, creating a coffee filter extravaganza, and grocery bag fun. Bon appétit!

Creating Keepsakes Scrapbook Conventions simply overflow with inspiration, and our classes are no exception. There are over 18 CK Scrapbook Conventions this year across the United States. For more information on a CKC near you, check out the Events tab on Pick a convention and then click on “Classes” to see what CKC has in store for you.

CK Scrapbook Conventions are the perfect opportunity for getting some friends together and piling into a car for a fun road trip. Don’t forget your camera; you’re sure to create lots of wonderful, scrappable memories.

I’ll see you in class!
