National Scrapbooking Day is the first Saturday in May—that’s May 5 in 2012—and we’d like to invite you to join us as we celebrate with a week-long countdown to National Scrapbooking Day!

This year our theme is “scrapbooking around the house,” and every day in the week leading up to May 5 we’ll have challenges, classes, videos, chats, and prizes galore!!
Be sure to check both the Creating Keepsakes editors blog
and the Club CK blog,
as you’ll find new posts each day in both places. (Note: If you’re not a member of Club CK, join today—it’s FREE!)
We’ll start off Monday in the living room, then Tuesday we’ll tour the garage. Wednesday we’ll take a peek in the library, and Thursday we’ll stop by the kitchen. Friday we’ll visit the office, and Saturday we’ll get creative in our favorite room of all: the craft room! Be sure to mark your calendar for noon (MDT) on Saturday, May 5, so you can join us in the Club CK forums for a live chat with CK Dream Team member Suzy Plantamura!

As if that weren’t enough, Creating Keepsakes has partnered with Big Picture Classes to bring you the Creative Crop, a FREE 12-hour crop on National Scrapbooking Day 2012 (May 5). This fantastic, free online event will kick off Saturday, May 5, at 10:00 am MDT. You can look forward to 12 free, jam-packed hours offering creative challenges every hour, live chats with industry professionals, amazing giveaways, and constant inspiration and interaction! Sign up now to reserve your seat (did we mention it’s free?).
When it comes to scrapbooking, at CK we like to say, “Go big or go home!” This time we’re going big and we’re going home, with scrapbooking ideas from all around the house. Be sure to join us as we celebrate National Scrapbooking Day 2012!
