Happy Easter from all of us at CK! We hope you’re enjoying this magnificent day and the beautiful spring weather! Each year the start of spring, and particularly this very day, symbolizes all things new. New beginnings. New life. New hope. New strength. It’s the season that embodies the joy and triumph we can experience through dedication and commitment. It’s the season to celebrate life and the undeniable hope we have! And it’s the season where nature cries out this very song.

Thanks for the post, and reminder to appreciate the freshness of spring. Little buds appearing on the trees and the sound of ice cracking up and down the river are sure signs of renewal for me. Happy Easter!!
Our first winner didn’t respond, so we’ve chosen a new winner. Congrats, SheriK!
Sheri K: Gorgeous photos–thanks! Happy Easter! I saw lots of signs of new life on my drive to church–blooming trees and flowers and in church a couple of very cute little babies! I also try to spend time each day with my little flower garden next to my front door–my family thinks I’m crazy because I “talk” to them most days–but it gets really hot here in the summer and most things die–so I enjoy checking them out, my violas and have really grown and spread and I have several rose bushes in my front yard. They are wild with color and lots of blooms (and yep–I have several in vases around the house) and all the neighbors tell me how much they enjoy them too!

I love Spring coz Summer soon
I love new grass!!! so tiny and tender after long winter
My husband and I both have new great-nieces we are getting to watch enjoy their first Easter Sunday! Love new life!
The sun is just rising here, but as I look out my window I see many new buds on my beautiful maple tree!
Happy Easter! The sun is shining and the leaves are starting to come out on the trees.. I love spring!
Well it is still early in the day. But, I noticed the new stuff the boys got in their Easter baskets. One thing was bubbles. I always love bubbles, so my son and I went out on the porch and blew some new and shiny bubbles. So fun. Bubbles always make me smile. Happy Easter.
The sun isn’t up yet on Easter morning, but new life is all around. Our flowers are just starting to bloom. This is such a wonderful time of year. Happy Easter!
Páscoa é tempo de Amor, de família e de Paz. É tempo de agradecermos. Por tudo que temos e por tudo que teremos! Hoje Olhei para minha família com os olhos do amor e agradeci a Deus por estarem presentes em minha vida!
I noticed my Gerbera Daisies have new leaves and is starting to grow for this summer. And my Blueberry bushes have all sorts of leaf buds emerging! I love Spring and can’t wait for even more flowers and greenery!
Easter is always a time for New Beginnings and New Growth for me both emotionally and financially….I always spend the day with family, whether it is a few or alot doesn’t really matter as long as we are all content. I always try to spend the day reflecting on the past year and what new beginnings are going to come my way…..
It’s our baby Emma’s first Easter!
When I went out to get the paper the birds were singing so sweetly–made me glad to be alive on this beautiful sunny Easter Sunday.
Thanks for the post, and reminder to appreciate the freshness of spring. Little buds appearing on the trees and the sound of ice cracking up and down the river are sure signs of renewal for me. Happy Easter!!
Happy Easter!! I will be meeting my new Niece this Easter Sunday! She was born last month but due to sickness I had to stay away
can’t wait to scrapbook her fist Easter photos!
I had a fuschia plant in a large pot outside over the summer and I never got around to digging it out and bringing it inside. Now my neighbor would have been very efficient and would have pulled the ‘dead’ plant and tossed it. But I left it, dead twigs and all. And now amazingly I saw life in that pot! There is no doubt that the green shoots all over the plant base is coming from the plant itself. Just so exciting!
Buds on the trees becoming small and fragile little leaves. Some of the buds have not opened yet though. I can’t wait to plant flowers! I don’t have a yard anymore so it will just be pots on a small deck but I can’t wait. Thanks for sharing!

buds on the trees, a baby in church, and tulips ready to open.
The sun is shining once again and I’m so thankful to be alive.
We just got a 6 week old lab puppy for our two little boys.
Happy Easter!
I looked out the bathroom window this morning at the beautiful sunny day and spotted a beautiful red-breasted robin, looking as though it would soon be filling a nest with eggs. Just perfect on Easter morning!
New tulips are blooming.
My daughter and I are waiting for her butterflies to emerge. They are chrysalides now, and in just a few days they will complete their transformation into BEAUTIFUL Painted Lady butterflies! We documented their progress with pics and I can’t wait to scrap them
:):)
Up here the buds are out on the trees, the air is fresh and the sun has a new intensity. Mmmmmm. I hope your Easter was blessed as well!
Besides spring flowers our new grandson was a handsome sign of new life and a new baby goat was born on our farm today.
I noticed the lilacs will be blooming in a few days! Had last 2 of 9 calves born this weekend and have 4 kittens a little older than the ones in your picture–which are adorable, by the way.
Reuniting with family, we sat on the front porch in the warm sun. We enjoyed the bright green new grass and trees, while the girls played in the creek catching frogs and salamanders. Their were lots of giggles and squeals when they discovered their old friends from autumn returned to their places under the rocks! ” hello little buddy” “remember me” “I’m bigger, but you are not” “I’ve been waiting all winter to see you again little froggy”
One of the things I really love about Easter, is getting together with family. The actual activities at our family gatherings don’t really change that much from year to year, but I love to see how each person has changed and grown over the past year, especially the little ones.
On the eve of Easter, my niece gave us a new baby girl! I would say that is a wonderful way to celebrate!
I am always inspired by the sound of all the birds chirping in the spring. Definitely a sign of new life for me!
I was inspired by the Easter story in the scriptures. It is beautiful.
the peas I planted are starting to send up shoots and the apple trees are full of buds–love the beginning of the growing cycle!
That would definitely be my sister-in-law’s growing belly! I can’t wait to meet the tiny new life inside!!
My new little mock orange plant that I just planted has started to grow new leaves…so exciting!
The buds on my rose bush.

I saw the cutest little baby birds yesterday.
Happy Easter!
The new life I’ve noticed is in all the plants coming back to life in the yard. It’s amazing to see the plants reappear each year in their own good time.
I was able to hold a newborn baby today. Can’t find better new life than that!
Lots of plants sprouting, everything is so green now!
Loving all the spring almond blossoms!
Have been hearing birds singing every morning – couldn’t ask for a better wake-up call! And after a long winter’s darkness – the sun is up when I have to get out of bed!
Sweet peas growing like crazy! Spent part of the day in a hammock in the sun with a new book! Rosebushes covered in red buds and am so looking to cutting them to bring inside to enjoy!
