Win a Seat in the Washi Tape Workshop

Have you hopped on the washi tape wagon yet? This must-have scrapbooking supply, also known as Japanese masking tape, is one of the hottest tickets in creative town these days, so it comes as no surprise it’s made its way onto the pages of Creating Keepsakes on more than one occasion.

In this example by Dream Team member, Kim Watson, tape was used to create a blooming flower accent.

Fold tape to create the pretty petals, and attach those petals to a punched circle center and you have yourself a fabulous flower in minutes!

I’ve used washi tape on many projects, including this layout where I backed a title with handmade flags. Creating the flags was as simple as folding the tape around toothpicks and cutting the ends in a dove-tail fashion.

Whether you have a crush on washi tape and are looking for new ways to use this awesome supply or you’re new to the washi world and want ideas, you’ll want to check out the Washi Workshop.

I’m teaching this online class with my friends at Studio Calico and would love to have you join us.

The class will cover washi techniques in scrapbooking, paper crafting, organizing, and more!

Win a Washi Seat
The class kicks off June 1. Want to win a seat? Simply leave a comment on this post between now and Wed., May 23, for a chance to win.
