It’s all about YOU at CKU!
Creating Keepsakes University (CKU) is back in 2012 with three locations:
San Jose, CA – September 6-8
Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX – October 11-13
Stamford, CT – November 1-3
What do you do at CKU? You start with an afternoon of fun projects from each CKU teacher that will jump start your creativity and give you a glimpse of the fun you’ll have in your classes. Then kick off the event at the Thursday Night Crop where you’ll meet the teachers and staff, complete an evening project, and crop until you can’t keep your eyes open.
Friday and Saturday are your album workshop and class rotation days. One day you’ll complete an album from one of our inspiring teachers. Each album provides loads of pages, cool techniques, and time interacting with your instructor and fellow CKU friends. The best part? When you are done, your album is ready to add photos to, which means you can sit back and bask in the joy of a completed album!
For your class rotation, you’ll attend four 90-minute classes full of techniques, creativity, and of course, fun. These inspiring classes include layering, stamping, sewing, mixed media, and more. Oh the things you’ll be able to show your friends when you get home!
Both Friday and Saturday evening provide crop time in case you don’t get everything quite finished in your album or in class. Plus, you’ll want time to swap ideas and hang out with your friends.
If this isn’t enough, you can add ala carte classes on Thursday morning. These classes are an additional cost but so worth it. Choose from Summer Fresh Mini Album, No Rules Scrapbooking (Smash book), Quick Pages, Scrapbooking with Surprise Supplies, and Still Scrappin’ with Sketches.
