Hello CK blog readers! As I look out the window, I see cloud-covered mountains and puddles on the ground from the falling rain. All this “gloom” is getting me even more excited for one of my favorite holidays: Halloween!
Creating the perfect invite for a haunted Halloween party doesn’t have to be scary. We made ours using MDS 2™, Stampin’ Up!’s digital designing software, so it’s mass producible—then we added some embossing to make it look really expensive (I love cheap “expensive”!). If you want to try MDS 2 for FREE for 30 days, you can download it here.
On the banner we used the Ex Libris Background Stamp—since it’s one big stamp, the stamping is quick and easy! Other special touches include white embossing to make the stamp pattern stand out, Silver Glimmer Paper that makes the letters pop, and orange stitching, which shows up a lot better than white thread would. Big impact without a lot of effort!
The Trick-or-Treat bag is so trendy and fun—and so easy. Imagine your son or daughter passing these out at their class Halloween party filled with little treats—talk about impressive!
The Toxic Treats jar is a perfect treat jar for your desk at work! If the jar you use is too big for one sheet of paper, you can easily combine two sheets of Howlstooth & Scaringbone Designer Series Paper to give the illusion that it’s one sheet.
