Happy Wednesday!
Here in Utah, the snow has been falling, and it’s the perfect opportunity to get outside and enjoy some sledding and snow fun! To help record these winter memories, we’ve got a free journaling spot download for you to use on your layout.
Inspired by her boys’ love of playing in the snow, Laina Lamb decided a snowflake was the perfect shape for the journaling on her layout. Laina created the journaling spot and added her journaling on the computer, but you can easily cut out your shape and hand-write your journaling inside it.
How you create your shaped journaling spots depends on your preferences as a traditional, hybrid, or digital scrapbooker. Use the following tips to decide which method is for you.
1. Traditional: If computers aren’t your style, try fussy cutting shapes from patterned paper, journaling on die cuts, or drawing your own shapes to journal on.
2. Hybrid: Try printing shapes and adding handwritten journaling, or printing your journaling and drawing your own shape around your words.
3. Digital: Use your computer to journal on winter-themed shapes you’ve created or downloaded, as Laina did. These journaling spots can be used on digital pages, or printed out and adhered to hybrid layouts.
Happy Scrappin!
