Hi everyone!
Raise your hand if journaling and/or creating a title for your layout is a struggle (note, my hand is raised very high right now). You’d think that capturing our feelings, putting words to paper about what the photos mean would be easy, but for a lot of us that is not the case.
When I’m struggling I often turn to quotes and card sentiments to help with creating titles or to express my feelings. Here are a few that may help you with layouts coming up in the next few months.
Love this one from Creating Keepsakes that includes nine formatted quotes that capture the moment for occasions like a new baby, honoring a mother, or a wedding or anniversary.
A second location I use a lot is our sister publication’s (Paper Crafts magazine) web site. Each magazine issue they include free downloadable sentiments that are formatted so you can print and use them immediately. Here are the sentiments from the Paper Crafts March/April 2013 issue.
One more place I often visit. This web site – Brainy Quote – organizes quotes by topic and popular authors. If I don’t browse by topic then I search and usually find just what I was looking for. While these quotes aren’t formatted, they are easy to copy and paste into Word, add a pretty font, and print.
So, where do you find quotes and title ideas? Leave me a comment – I’m always looking for new ideas.
Have fun creating!

I love quotes
I usually find them on blogs
Thanks for the link to the website. It will be so helpful!
I have a tendency to snag a few from greeting cards, rubber stamps and wall art vinyl sheets from Michaels and Hobby Lobby. I either take a picture with my cell phone or type it in the memo.
