Late & Great Update: Want 2 Scrap

Megan Hoeppner, creative editor

Want to scrap? Who am I kidding with this question? Isn’t the answer always Yes!? What I’m really stating isn’t a question at all; it’s a company. Want 2 Scrap offers an impressive line of alterable items, including this steampunk-inspired assortment of chipboard shapes designed by the creative Candy Rosenberg.

Use these large wings as they are, or look at using them as a mask with your spray ink to create a wing outline on your page.

Love this dressform design! Wouldn’t it look cool on the front of a tall card? Or what about filling in its open areas with dimensional glaze for an interesting finish?

Time to shift your creative gears and think about these well rounded pieces. They’d be cool on a page about your pop. Father’s Day is around the corner, after all.

A Punk-tastic Prize
These pieces definitely pack a punk… errr, punch. What would you do with them? Tell us in the comments section of this post between now and Monday, April 29 for a chance to win the assortment shown here.

We Have a Winner!
Speaking of winning comments, we’d like to congratulate Pamela Romero. She’s last week’s winner of our Queen & Co. prize package. Woot! Thanks for participating in the fun.

Cheers!

The wings would look good on the layouts for my daughter’s Girl Scout “flying up” ceremony from Brownies to Juniors and/or Juniors to Cadettes–and yes, I’m a little behind in my scrapbooking, as always.

  20. Joy says:

I have two boys. I have them make cards for their grandparents for just about every holiday. They never like my idea of adding flowers or something to the card to make it look a little prettier. I love extravagant masks and would use glimmer mists on those stencils to make a wonderful canvas painting for my mother to fill the empty wall in her bedroom. The dress form is my new favorite shape. I like them in all sizes and varieties. I would embellish it beautifully. I think gears would make nice items to add to key rings. Just ink with 2 tones and add layers of Ultra Thick Embossing Powder!
