Here’s a cute idea from Cindy Tobey about using cupcake liners on a birthday page. This technique is sure to make your birthday page sparkle!

Cupcake-Liner Flowers

10 Candles by Cindy Tobey, as seen in the May/June 2010 issue of Creating Keepsakes magazine.

Step 1: Flatten cupcake liner with hand; cut liner into spiral using scissors.

Step 2: Color along outside edge of spiral using marker.

Step 3: Punch 2″ circle from cardstock. Adhere cupcake liner spiral to cardstock circle starting at outside. Gather liner as you go, creating ruffles.

Step 4: Add liquid glue to top edge of rosette. Spring with glitter.
