Scrapbook How To: Make a Splash on Your Layout

In our Mar/Apr 2013 issue of Creating Keepsakes, we share tips for capturing the energy of sports on your scrapbook layouts. On page 81 Cindy Tobey’s alcohol ink and transparency technique is the perfect way to make a splash on water themed pages.

Create Your Own Watery Accents

Step 1: Add several drops of ink and blending solution to transparency.

Step 2: Lay another transparency on top of wet, inked transparency. Gently rub ink spots.

Step 3: Pull transparencies apart; let dry.Use as a watery background, or cut out droplets as accents.
