Are you having fun scrapping today? Ready for another challenge? This one involves creating a custom background for a scrapbook layout. Here’s a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing:
- Randomly spritz spray inks on cardstock
- Place a template or stencil over your paper and spritz with spray ink
- Stamp a design on cardstock
- Use an object, such as a doily or other household item, as a stencil
- Brush watercolors or paint across cardstock
Here’s an example from the November/December 2012 issue where Suzy Plantamura layered doilies over cardstock and colored around the doily’s details with markers to create a one-of-a-kind background.
