National Scrapbooking Day Challenge: Use 10 or More Embellishments

Stacy Croninger - Digital Managing Editor

Hi everyone!

This challenge is either right up your alley or will seriously stretch your creative skills. It involves embellishments – lots of them. We want you to create a scrapbook page that includes 10 or more different types of embellishments. Think brads, buttons, twine, ribbon, flowers, wood veneer shapes, die cuts, punched shapes, decorative pins, clips, enamel dots, rhinestones, pearls, and more. I could go on and on.

Need a little inspiration? This layout by Tina Walker from the November/December 2012 issue, includes a plethora of embellishments arranged artistically on a neutral background created with cute, little sacks.

I made a two page layout that
uses washi tape, flowers, gems, paper,
mini folders, feather, stickers, die cuts,
    punched items, and borders! Doesn’t
have any pictures yet, but there are
spots inside the folders for them.
