if you haven’t signed up yet it’s not too late. In addition to completing two fun albums, and multiple bonus projects you will be able to attend four amazing core classes presented by some of the industry’s top instructors. These instructors bring to you innovative projects with products from companies such as Close to My Heart, Bella Blvd., Lawn Fawn, and Stephanie Barnard’s line from Sizzix.  We asked the CKU core teachers what their favorite lines were from the companies they represent and this is what they had to say.

“I am in love with Bella Blvd’s new Daily Chevies & Everyday Bits collection, which debuted at the CHA Summer show last month. I love the tone-on-tone large chevron patterned paper, featuring the bright colors that Bella is known for. The backsides of the papers have great everyday patterns, such as hearts, stars, stripes, and triangles. They have also added in papers with the 3×4 and 4×6 cards that are so popular in Project Life albums these days. The colors used in the Daily Chevies & Everyday Bits collections are the same colors you will find in SO many of Bella’s current and previous collections, making it super easy to mix elements from just about any collection together on your projects.”

“Our new Cricut Artbooking Cartridge is the bomb, it is my fave, here are the highlights:

Like our other cartridges, the Artbooking cartridge still includes 700 images.  There are 15 layout themes and 10 mini book themes that each include accents, borders, titles, overlays, and photo mats.  With just one dial size and one key you can create a complete themed layout or mini book. Or, select images from both coordinating keys for even more options.  We have done all of the legwork and set up the layout keys to all link to the 11″ size of the background overlay.  That way you only set your size dial once to 11″ and then you are able to cut mats, frames, borders, titles, etc. and they will scale to be proportional for a complete layout.  The mini books are linked similarly at their respective heights ranging from 6″ x 7″ all the way up to 8.5″ x 11″.  The Cricut booklet that comes with the cartridge includes the ideal size of each project, but of course with the “Real Dial” function you can still customize your images to the size you want them to be. To help support our new cartridge we will be releasing a series of 32 videos explaining the strategy behind the cartridge, as well as a bunch of fun things you can do with the cartridge outside of the linked layouts and mini-albums. These videos will start appearing on Jeanette Lynton’s blog on September 1, 2013″.

They are so new, they aren’t even in stores yet!  Due to ship to stores in September.”
