The question regarding what inspires me to scrapbook feels like: “Which came first, the chicken or the egg?” Often, my creativity comes from the actual process of creating. But other times I get inspired by seeing new product or techniques and then I can’t wait to scrapbook.
Regardless of which comes first, scrapbook inspiration is definitely a must. So today I’m sharing a few things that inspire me.
Or things that I want to make like this fun and inexpensive frame using family photos and frames from the dollar store. I think this would be a great way to use extra photos from the holidays.
And of course there are the organization ideas, which I have oodles of ideas pinned but very few implemented. I have a pegboard in my room and really need to adapt this idea to make it more functional.
Colors and color combinations totally gets my creativity going. My favorite web site for color combinations is Design Seeds. Here’s one example of a color combination that resonates with me. Plus, I love the photos used to find the color combinations.
I also frequent a few design type blogs that have fun products and color combinations. For example, How About Orange. Even though most of her colors involve orange, I still love seeing what she has to share like these wooden blocks with cool patterns.
So, that’s a quick look at some of the things that inspire me, which in turn gets me creating. What inspires you? Where do you go to find your inspiration? I’d love to hear so I can check them out and add them to my list.
Have a great Monday and have fun creating!
