Creative & Crafty Chore Charts

Ah, the time-honored tradition of tricking people into doing chores by creating a chart so cute they can’t resist. Here are some ideas to lure your loved ones into keeping things clean—with style.

1. Pin it. Pinterest isn’t the only place where pinning is irresistible. Make an interactive chore chart by writing the jobs on clothespins that can be moved to ‘done’ once they’re completed.

2. Picture it. For younger kids who have a hard time reading—or just for the cute factor!—take pictures of the tasks that need to be done, adhere them to magnets, then line them up next to the picture of the person responsible for them.

3. Clip it. Type out cards listing a cluster of chores, then rotate from week to week. Bonus idea: The jars full of pebbles are adorable—but a better incentive might be some chocolate you get to eat once the job is done. Just sayin’.
