Scrapbook How To: Make an Envelope Book

Want to add a special touch to your page but you don’t have a lot of time? Jenni Bowlin created an envelope book for her Marshall Fields layout in just a few easy steps. Use this small book for additional journaling or photos as Jenni did on her layout.

Create the look:

Step 1: Cut down the bottom of a long string-and-button envelope to the same size as your extra photos.

Step 2: Cut each side of the envelope open along the creases . This allows the "book' to open.

Step 3: Cut a piece of cardstock to fit the book and fold accordion-style. Mount the bottom of th eaccordion paper to the back of the book. Add extra photos and journaling. Use a photo turn to keep the book closed on your layout.
