Scrapbook How-to: Color Rhinestones

Coloring clear rhinestones is a fabulous way to have just the right shade of bling on hand without purchasing every color under the sun. In just a few minutes, you can have rhinestones that complement your layout, just like those on Jamie Harper’s You + Me layout from Mixed Media, Vol. 1.

Create the look:

Step 1: Place rhinestones in plastic bag and spritz using spray ink.

Step 2: Rub ink onto rhinestones through plastic bag.

Step 3: Let dry on paper towel before attaching to layout.

    Isn’t it easier to use an alcohol marker like Copic Markers to do this…. certainly less messy.
