Scrapbook How-to: Create Snipped Blooms

Need some playful blossoms? Scatter these cuties across your page! The simple design makes these blooms a snap to make en masse for a summertime layout. Notice how Davinie Fiero’s flowers are positioned on a busy background and they still stand out on her My Butterfly layout from Scrapbooking Tips & Tricks: Fabulous Flowers. Achieve a similar effect by choosing patterned paper with bold colors to contrast a pale background and muted paper strips. Then, for a bit of extra dimension, layer snipped blossoms and bend their petals upward.

Create the look:

Step 1: Punch two circles from patterned papers.

Step 3: Layer circles. Adhere threaded button to flower's center. Fluff petals.

    Right click on No – Changing – Wallpaper, click Modify, and
